I'm running into a weird issue with my driver display, it only acts up when I connect pin 7 on the x724. We're getting 24 volts there, any idea if that's normal? I am hoping to figure this out without replacing the whole unit

That's not normal at all. Pin 7 on that connector is your CAN Low line, which should be sitting at about 2.5 volts, not the full system 24. You've got power shorting into your data harness somewhere and that's why the display is acting up. Have you done any other electrical work recently where a wire could have gotten pinched or damaged?

If it's a CAN line or data input, it should be way lower usually around 2.5V, check the wiring diagram for that connector, if that pin is not meant for power, 24V could be causing the glitch in your display

24V on pin 7 doesn't sound right for that display. You should check the wiring diagram, it might be a short or miswire feeding it power where it shouldn't
